Roanoke Marshes LighthouseThe Town of Manteo dedicated the Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse on Saturday, September 25, 2004. The lighthouse is on the Manteo waterfront, on the east side of Roanoke Island.

The Roanoke Marshes Light is an exterior reconstruction of the square cottage-style screw-pile lighthouse which stood at the southern entrance to Croatan Sound. The original Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse stood at the southern entrance to Croatan Sound and was lost during an attempt to move it to private property.

The Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse is located at the end of the pier on the Manteo Waterfront

Hours:
Tuesday - Saturday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Lighthouse Climbing Fees:
Adults - $7.00
Children under 12 - $3.50 (must be at least 42" tall)
Seniors (62 and older) and disabled - $3.50 (with a National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Senior or Access Pass)
