First and foremost – personal fireworks tightly controlled in Dare County. The State of North Carolina and Dare County ordinance have very strict personal fireworks regulations which ban any fireworks that leave the ground or make a loud ‘bang’. This includes but is not limited to bottle rockets and mortars, and firecrackers and M80s. Most towns State and National Parks, Cape Hatteras National Seashore, have additional regulations. There is zero tolerance and the fines are very large. Please don’t risk it and end up making your next trip to NC to be for a court appearance. Enjoy snakes, sparklers caps, glow worms, smoke devices, trick noisemakers, and fountains safely with your friends and family. Then enjoy the amazing array of fireworks displays which will fill the skies over the Outer Banks!
