There is so much fun planned on the Outer Banks this week! From a the 1st Annual Soundside FunFair to the 34th Annual Rogallo Kite Festival and so much more. Movies on the Sound starts this week as does Whalehead Wednesday. Of course there is always live music, outdoor activities and fun abound. Don’t miss any of it, just read on!

4TH ANNUAL ROCK THE CAPE FESTIVAL – June 8 – 10 – Events occur throughout Hatteras Island – The Rock the Cape Festival returns for its fourth year for three days of art, music and fun. The festival is featuring three new events plus the much-loved oceanfront concert. The festival will kick off with numerous galleries on the island hosting Experience Art Activities June 8-9, giving guests the opportunity to meet local artists and make their own unique creation. On Wednesday June 8th, travel to Hatteras Village for a free outdoor Live Art demos from 3:30pm until sunset at Hatteras Landing. Guests can check out local plein air painters, hula-hoop performers and live music while enjoying beautiful views of the Pamlico Sound. On June 9th Cajun-Zydeco band Unknown Tongues and Americana band The Midatlantic be live at Koru Village’s oceanfront Beach Klub in Avon from 6:00 pm.
