DARE COUNTY ARTS COUNCIL PRESENTS – November Pop Up Show – November 4th – 18th – Manteo – Featuring work by Kaleigh Trott and Ellen Usher. First Friday festivities will include a free outdoor concert on the Bluegrass Island Front Porch at Manteo’s Magnolia Pavilion featuring Virginia based bluegrass band Nothin’ Fancy and North Carolina bluegrass musician Presley Barker. OUTER BANKS VETERANS WRITING PROJECT – November 5th & 6th – The centerpiece of Outer Banks Veterans Week is the Outer Banks Veterans Writing Project, which will be held at UNC Coastal Studies Institute on Roanoke Island from 9am-5pm. The Outer Banks Running Club once again invites you to start off your Thanksgiving morning with a calorie deficit by traversing a family-friendly 5K course through the Village of Nags Head in Nags Head while enjoying views of Roanoke Sound.
